List 27: Lessons Learned

1. Relax.
2. No matter how I try to plan, I'm not in control. 
3. Being single is not a punishment or merely a waiting period.
4. You can't actually read all of the assigned pages in grad school.
5. Life is not about getting everything right; it's about making it through and praising God.
6. Friendship takes different forms. Not all friends are lifelong, close-as-sisters friends, and that is ok.
7. If you want to be happy, start by being thankful.
8. I'm brought into God's family not because of anything I can or should do, not conditionally, but solely because of what Jesus did.
9. I will make mistakes, and it would be horrible if I didn't.
10. Moms are - somehow - inexhaustible treasuries of encouragement. I think it's a gift of God. 
11. Being tired is not the worst thing.
